Wonder why I love my job?

OK, I know many of you already use the Redbox service — where you can rent videos from a local kiosk for $1 a day. In fact, I used it when it first came out, but stopped after finding that the popular videos were rarely available when I wanted to watch them. Redbox kiosks are a LOT more prevalent now, and when I saw the Redbox iPhone app, I thought I’d give it another try. After entering my credit card information (oh, the horrors…yeah, whatever), I reserved The Hangover at the McDonald’s Redbox kiosk within 5 miles of my house. When I got to the kiosk, all I did was swipe my credit card, and the red machine spit out my movie! No pressing of germ-laden buttons! Yay! Oh, and the iPhone app is free. Now, if it could just sent out an electrical shock through my iPhone to remind me to return it by 9pm tonight…

I’m trying to get back into an exercise routine, and of course I have to have technology help me do it. I downloaded iMapMyRun for my iPhone and used it this morning to track my route. I walked 2 miles at an average of 3 miles per hour. I love that you can not only see the route on the map, but also the elevation. As you can see I live in the HILL country.
